My heart was thudding and seemed to have found its way into my mouth, where it continued to pound. I could feel the adrenalin coursing through my body, everything and everyone around me was a blur. I felt a gentle push and there I was on ‘live’ television for the first time in my life playing a waitress, with one or two lines in a show, I cant remember, with a possible 1 million people watching. But this was it, I could finally call myself a professional actress, acting and getting paid for it.

Everyone who is or has been an actor will recognise the thrill and fear of achieving their dream and I was no different. I had been determined since the age of eight and nothing had put me off.

My mother’s family had all been in the theatre, except that she was an artist and my father, a German refugee, had always longed to act, achieving his ambition at the age of 50.

Welcome to my website. I have been an actor or actress, (rogues and vagabonds as we were once described) or what you will for the best part of 40 odd years and this will give you some idea of me and my work.

The theatrical industry is the most fulfilling, thrilling, heartbreaking, nerve wracking, disappointing business I can think of and it has been no different for me and I am still addicted to it, its lure is always present.

There is so much to tell, but then this would be a book and not a website, so here I am and thank you for your interest!
